Healthcare Technical Analyst I - Enterprise (10 am - 7 pm)
Compensation: $52,555 - $65/400/year

General Responsibilities:
To function as a novice specialist for analysis, design, implementation and support of technology resources within the healthcare work environment. To combine clinical experience with a growing knowledge of current technologies to help translate business needs into technical solution. To perform various duties in the system life cycle to support the successful inplementation of healthcare technologies that achieve customer goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Actively participates in projects and serves as a subject matter expert for assigned tasks.
2. Maintains collaborative relationships acting as a team member for technology implementation.
3. Assists in developing technology related materials such as test scripts, system documentation and
procedures. Identifies appropriate medium for specific applications or projects.
4. Demonstrates emerging proficiency with information systems.
5. Advances personal knowledge of clinical and HSIS practices and system technologies.
6. Engages in root cause analysis and remediation activities for identified issues.
7. Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards,
policies and procedures, confidentiality standards and ethical behavior.
8. Provides system support for customers through routine rounding and implementation support as
needed exhibiting excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
9. Performs a variety of duties with coaching and direction, often changing from one task to another of
a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure.
10. Willingly receives coaching and direction for enhancing decision-making.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience in direct patient care and two (2) years electronic medical record experience. One (1) year work experience with UAB preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
Currently licensed in the area of clinical specialty by the State of Alabama.
