Epic Analyst - UAB Medicine - Multiple Opportunities
UAB Health System was recently approved to transition to Epic as our new electronic health record (EHR) platform, which means we have new opportunities available for you to join our Health System Information Services (HSIS) team. You'll work with more than 400 professionals committed to keeping UAB Medicine’s IT systems and infrastructure secure and running smoothly to deliver quality patient care.
As part of this integration, a variety of analyst roles are available on our HSIS team. Here are a few details about these new opportunities:
- Education requirements: A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is required. Work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- Certification requirements: Candidates must have an Epic certification in the assigned area, or certification must be obtained within 12 weeks of completing the required Epic training, noted below, with no more than two testing attempts.
- Work location: Job opportunities are onsite in Birmingham, Ala.
- Required training: To accept an offer, candidates must be willing to attend required training in Wisconsin in January 2025.
